Damian Lee illustrates how the UK's waterways could be brought back to life with his 'Waterscape Escape'. Capturing luxury and desirability in a new twist on the traditional narrowboat, this elegant design would perfectly complement the many redeveloped docks and canal basins across Britain.

A flexible vehicle that doubles as a part of the urban scenery when parked up, this car by Guy Melville-Brown takes inspiration from street culture and visual cues from graffiti. Surfaces are designed to be used as skate ramps whilst aspects such as the rubberized wings give the vehicle a robustness well suited to the urban environment.

| Combining the functional criteria of an ice cream van with the brand projections of Haagen-Dazs, this vehicle by Ben Urwin takes inspiration from the work of Anish Kapoor and Santiago Calatrava. The truly unique aesthetic was derived by using both computer software and models of taut material over a framework; the end result is a operator-orientated vehicle that makes a powerful visual statement. |
