" My main project grew out of personal frustrations, and explores the ‘speedaholic’ society we live in. It focuses on international business users and provides them with an escape from the daily grind and stresses of driving, by embracing the idea of ‘Slowness’, through a holistic experience.
"This is achieved by designing for the senses, using heat, scent, texture and light. The organic forms, tactile qualities, navigational clarity and use of aromatherapy enhance not only the users’ comfort but also their emotional well-being. Spa culture has informed much of the design, as has close collaboration with a constructive textile student. It places the emphasis back on the pleasure and luxury of the journey. "
