"Attention-seeker
For me, the problem with the cars we know of today, is that you could describe them as a box with wheels with just one frozen expression. I want to break down the shell of the car to make it penetrable for emotions - to bring people together.
The attention-seeker-car will give the freedom to communicate with the environment, to give the driver the possibility to interact with
the world around him, to express his feelings and deliver a message. This is a non-verbal communication which happens, for example, in the courtship behaviour of animals or the body language of humans.
To enable the car to show different emotions the driver is able to transform some parts of the car such as the air intakes, the lights, the
wheel arches and the special second skin of the car.
People will then be able to interact, to communicate, to express themselves, to escape the inhumane world of traffic and urban living." |
