"The practical design and quality of even the most affordable cars is so good today that we need another way to differentiate between products. I believe that the intangible areas of design human, emotional and irrational must now be expanded upon. My time at the Royal College of Art has been an opportunity to explore this.
I feel that emotion and romance in design is of extreme importance, and I approach every project with this in mind. In my view, an emotional attachment between user and product is as important as a good sense of practical design (which, of course, is also essential)."
