Last year's students took a brief from Mario Favilla from Alfa Romeo's Style Centre to look at the future of the 147. Students researched the history of the company and aimed to develope a design that connected to current Alfa themes. Each student then individually developed exterior and interior designs and ultimately a 1:5 or 1:10 scale model.

The Scuola Politecnica di Design was established in 1954 as the first Italian School of Design. The school was founded by Nino Di Salvatore, an artist belonging to the Movimento Arte Concrete, and has trained thousands of designers from over forty countries.

Work from the 2003-04 collaboration with Centro Stile Alfa Romeo. Students looked at creating the next generation of 147.
